Ritesh is couch-friendly!

In his make-up van, that is! All the hype about SRK���s vanity van has the stars re-examining theirs right now. Riteish Deshmukh (widely rumoured to have designed SRK's previous one), could be contemplating upgrading his three-year-old vanity van.
���Mine���s three years old, so at the time I was doing it up, people thought I had done SRK's also, but that wasn���t the case actually.Mine���s still quite basic and simple. It���s got a basic white and grey look to it and in terms of aesthetics, the only point I���ve taken care of is that it has a red couch in it.���
And how James Bond-ish exactly is the good ol Riteishmobile? "Not much actually, since mine is older, a lot of fancy new gadgets have come into the market since I got this. A van is like a car really, you tend to want an upgrade every few years, so I should probably seriosuly consider one."
Being a trained architect himself, he couldn���t help but put his finger in that pie when it was being cooked, ���But the entire design credit goes to DC (Dilip Chabria) actually,��� he says. ���His aesthetics and sense of design is just amazing. I can take no credit for it. He was open to suggestions though since he knew my design background.���
Ask him what he���s been up to and whether he���s been consciously lying low since 26/11 happened and he shrugs it off, ���I���ve been around, I do attend social dos and I am being photographed and written about, so I guess there���s nothing that���s changed really. I don���t really have anything to hide from.���
And what of all the time he���s spending with lady love Genelia? One set of rumours has it he���s been lying low to avoid distressing his parents, who are opposed to the relationship, and another has it the couple is trying to keep the focus on their professional rather than personal life. ���Again, that���s just another rumour. We have been good friends, we share common interests, we hang out together, and I guess that���s how rumours get started.���
